Alpha DDSI is a Filipino owned corporation established in the year 2007. Workshop, warehouse and main office are located in the City of Muntinlupa, with satellite office situated in Exchange Regency, Pasig City. It is a fully integrated Marketing Services and Development Company engaged in all areas of the marketing process, from strategic planning to program execution. Alpha DDSI aims to create new, innovative concepts and ideas to promote and support various social causes through synergies with the public and private sector, NGOs and other social organizations. In 2011, we have developed the brand “Tanglaw” to cater to delivering eco-friendly solutions. We have designed and patented various solar-powered lighting solutions targeted for residential, commercial, road safety and government use.
Expanding its horizons, on October 5, 2014, ALPHA DDSI’s husband & wife team, Noel & Michelle Tanada conceptualized the brand ECOHOME ART to create and produce innovative, unique pieces of furniture, lighting & accessories made of eco-friendly materials to showcase the Filipino’s talents and skills and provide livelihood opportunities for the poor communities in our country. Noel, a furniture designer and artist, who wishes to continue the legacy of his late grandfather, Sen. Lorenzo M. Tanada, a genuine nationalist known for his untainted political and pro-poor achievements and countless acts of nobility. Michelle, with her past experiences in working with local & international NGOs and involvement in the Advertising industry. Coming from different fields and industries, they unite to highlight the Filipino’s creativity & ingenuity thru Environmental Design Innovations.
His voyage started in the 80’s as a furniture salesman and learned about design through Chilean designer, Marcelo Pizzaro.
He worked as a furniture designer for well-known firms in the industry such as Drexel Heritage, Henredon, Ethan Allen, Ralph Lauren, Laurel’s and Crate and Barrel.
He undertook residential and commercial projects as an interior designer in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills & Malibu, California and built his own furniture design & manufacturing company in the US, Tañada International.
Decades later, in his desire to continue the legacy of his grandfather, the late Sen. Lorenzo Tañada, in helping the poor, he ventured into Solar Lighting Products and created the brand Tanglaw in 2012. Under Noel’s name are several patents of solar powered lighting fixtures designed to help our country’s marginalized sector in their daily lives.
